Honorary life membership

In 1987 the Society of Editors first granted honorary life membership to a few key members in recognition of their service to editing in Australia and/or to the promotion of the aims of the Society.

By 2008, twenty-three editors had been awarded honorary life membership of the Society of Editors (Victoria), in recognition of their contribution to the editing profession and services to the Society.

The following list of Honorary Life Members and biographical notes are a work-in-progress and will continue to develop on the Society’s website.
